"Excalibur" sounds like "exceptional act". It is seen as the sword of honor and respect. Excalibur is not killing anyone. The sword is Excalibur, but it has many different mythological names. These myths came from many different cultures that knew of King Arthur and his knights. The second myth has to do with King Arthur’s death and his resurrection by none other than Lady Guinevere.
